Dear Saurabh, If you have 58.92 in 12th, my first suggestion is to share your marksheet, I can try to view if in different combinations to assess the eligibility, If still you fall below the eligibility, please SEE if you fall under following categories which have relaxations: (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defense Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants)
If you still cant qualify, then you might have to go with Diploma and then get into lateral entry, where the eligibility is:
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years. After 10+2 (N

  • Sourabh, it will be good idea to go for Dual Diploma- B.Tech (Automobile engineering,). The eligibility criteria for the same is
Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th (with Mathematics, Science and English) or equivalent. http://www.lpu.in/programmes/all/10th/Engineering/Automobile_Engineering_(AE)/Dual_Programme_Diploma_(Engg.)_-_B.Tech.#Details

Hi, The minimum eligibility criteria for the B.Tech programme is 60 percentages but still, there are relaxations based on which you can SEE if you are eligible. The relaxation is as follows:-
5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defense Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants. In case you don't fall in this category then you can proceed with admission in the Diploma programme and after completing your Diploma you can proceed with the lateral entry programme. Admissions are going on, to grab the opportunity to apply without any delay. Hope this information helps. Thanks.
