Should I go for further studies like MS or M.Tech to get a core engineering job?
Completed my engineering with a First Class (66%) overall. I am interested to do a core job i.e in Mechanical engineer. So i wanted to know that if i do some course like HaVAc or SAP(Stress Analysis in Piping) would be good (OR) doing futher studies Like MS (in USA or Canada) or M.Tech in India.

Hi Anas,
An MS from a top university in US or Canada and working there for a year or two before coming back to India with your credentials is a wiser option. You can additionally do a professional course in SAP (Stress Analysis in Piping). You must look for doing an internship or project work in a research based organization.
Remember, if you are looking for core companies, it is important that you do some research before applying to a university. Every company have a pool of universities from where they recruit, core companies generally hire talents from top universities. Check such database. I hope this helped.

For doing a core job, you need to have deep knowledge about the subjects you have studied in your B.Tech. For CSE students, they should know programming well; they should know database management system very well; etc. Of course, MS and M.Tech are very good choices. You can also do that as it depends on you.
