* Candidate must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board or university.
* Candidate must be from the Science stream with compulsory subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
* The minimum cut-off is 45% marks scores in 10+2 examination.
* Candidates from other streams such as Commerce and Arts can become eligible for the course by scoring at least 45% mark in National Institute of Open Schools (NIOS) Science examination.
