It is quite difficult to predict about defense quota right at this moment. But you apply through it. Also, I would suggest to fix your branch of interest. If you are getting it, then only take an admission. Don't settle for a branch that you don't like or you don't know about.

There are less than 10 percent chance to get admission there but don't wait. Just take admission wherever you are getting the seats. Just apply for it and ou can also wait for some time to check the cutoff lists of several colleges.
