Sir, I want to get admission in VIT, Vellore for computer science branch? How many minimum marks required to get admission through VITEEE?

VIT has their own system of giving ranks. They give mild weightage to your board marks and whether it's your first attempt or not. Number of questions attempted also have upper hand. Level of paper will be higher than boards but for sure lower than JEE Mains. Some questions may be tricky. Just prepare and try to attempt all questions. Rank upto 9000 will land you with CSE in VIT, Vellore and upto 12,000 in VIT Chennai in first category. Otherwise you can pay more and get in 2nd category.

You are looking for upper branches than your rank must be between 0001-7000. But you can adopt second option for getting higher branches like (CSE, Mechanical) Eligibility criteria:- 1. You have to apply for VITEEE. 2. You have to secure a qualifying rank in order to eligible for merit seats as well as direct seats. 3) PCM percentage should be 60 or above. The concept of category A, B, C & D applies here with category C-D being considered as management quota. The tuition fees at VIT for direct seats is 4.93 lakhs for upper branches & 3.98 lakhs for other branches. The students who takes admission via direct seats will follow the same process as the merit holder student follows. Good luck.
