I will try to answer your question to the best of my knowledge. Talking about Lovely Professional University, student of CSE here in LPU. LPU has a collaboration with Google to provide specialisation Android courses to the B.Tech/IT/CSE/Engineering students. LPU provides free training on SAP Business Suite to the students leading them to the SAP Consultant Certification. LPU has a tie-up with VMware IT ACADEMY for giving students and faculty exposure to products like vSAN, sphere, NSX, Workspace, Airwatch and cloud, including certifications. LPU was ranked SECOND by Hacker Earth leaving behind most IITs among more than 5000 universities, from all around the world. LPU students designed and created India's 1st Solar-Powered driverless bus which was featured in various national media and which made a maiden run in the Indian Science Congress 2019 held by LPU, which was inaugurated by The Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi. And many more, with great placement opportunities, there is a very good holistic environment for one to study and get ready for the corporate world while sharpening your skills and knowledge. The placements at LPU are almost unexpectable. Someone gets a really good package while some get very less, it depends upon your portfolio and the interview. Mostly, the interviews matter a lot. If you did well over there you will definitely get a good job. Recently in the Amazon placement drive, 15-16 students got a package in the range of 11-16 Lacs and it's a good package, Tanya Arora she got 42 LPA from Microsoft. But at the same point, there are some companies who took the students at the package of 3.5-34.5 Lacs. There will be many placement drives conducted by Tech Mahindra, Samsung, Koni Labs, Hitachi, Honda and many more. It depends on how you perform. Innovative and productive environment, more emphasize on practical sessions with the benefit of having ragging free campus LPU is having experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries, faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as we are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for B.Tech. Lately, number of admissions in B.Tech in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because my cousin brother has completed same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. Curriculum in CSE branch is very well designed such that they can learn everything from basics to the in-depth knowledge of their field. The College takes them for the industrial visit for more growth and experience. It hands on experience by also working on live projects to develop a sense of problem-solving, and critical thinking in order to gain real-life understanding along with skill enhancement. In addition to core curriculum, the course offers subjects like communication and soft skills to enhance personality. I would suggest you to expand your horizon and look for options with different features. Check out their faculty members, placement details, internships, labs, projects, curriculum and few other factors which are important. As per my experience I would suggest you LPU. Lovely Professional University (LPU) is one such university that is reputed in the field of education and can easily be your first choice to pursue an engineering degree. One of the best things about LPU is the placement opportunities it provides to its students. LPU has already established the record of the highest number of placements in North India in the last three years. Students of this university are working at respectable positions in major corporations such as Amazon, Google, etc. With packages of more than 1 crore. Cognizant alone has hired 1900 students from the university. Many students of LPU have been hired in a lot of good companies from all around the world. More than 700+ companies such as Microsoft, HP, Hindustan Lever, etc. That recruit from IIT also recruit from LPU. The campus of the university spans over 600 acres and is like a city in itself. Hi Sakshi, Now a days private universities are putting more efforts than some of the NIT's or even young IIT's. For NIT one has to crank JEE Mains where as for LPU one can crack LPU NEST. I am not saying that LPU NEST is easier than JEE Mains or difficult. Here I just want to tell you about the value addition, Where it might be possible that LPU is putting more efforts to make Industry ready product. First of all the difference is in the specializations. LPU offers large number of industry specific specializations, highly coveted Computer Science Engineering along with the function specific ones, while you can easily count the total number of classes in NIT's. Course curriculum : While NIT's are carrying legacy only in regards Curriculum, LPU has developed and upgraded its curriculum continuously with feedback and consultations with Industry tycoons. Three striking features of LPU are Technology training's like Github, advance excel etc. , which give a clear edge to students in employability. Diversity: LPU attracts talent from all over India as well as about 70 countries across the globe. This gives a unique global perspective, social sensibilities and networking skills. Professional enhancement: LPU has a dedicated department which works in whole course duration to ensure the holistic development, soft skills, interpersonal skills, social etiquette etc. Lets SEE the placement scenario.
