<p>The eligibility criteria for admission to Madras University Distance Education (IDE UNOM) for BBA are: 1. The candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (Academic or Vocational Stream) conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or other states/union territories, or an examination accepted as equivalent by the authorities of the University of Madras. 2. The candidate should have a minimum gap of two clear years between the date of appearance in the examination in which they passed the SSLC (X Standard) and Higher Secondary Examination (+2) or any other equivalent examination. 3. Candidates who have successfully completed 12 or 13 years of education in any state in India or abroad under the 11+1 or 10+2 or 11+2 pattern are also eligible, subject to approval by the authorities of the University of Madras. 4. Candidates who have passed the Three-Year Diploma Examinations conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Chennai, after passing the 10th Standard Examination, are also eligible. 5. Candidates who have passed the G.C.E. (Advanced Level/Principal Level) with not less than three subjects in the 'A' Level with English in the 'O' Level/Subsidiary Level are also eligible. 6. Candidates who have passed the Aalima course offered by Jamiat-ul-Mominath, Moghalpura, are also eligible.</p>
