I wrote both JEE and neet. so with my experience, Let me give you this details:
NEET Eligibility
The age of the candidate must be 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year. Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects, securing 50% marks for general, 40% for OBC/SC/ST, and 45% for PwD candidates.CUET Eligibility
Age has not been declared. The minimum qualification required for the students should be 10+2 or equivalent from any recognised board. The eligibility for the particular course depends on the university and their requirements.JEE Eligibility

Yes, qualifying the NEET entrance exam is mandatory for MBBS admission in Kerala colleges, including for both government and private quota seats, as per NMC regulations. Candidates just have to clear an entrance exam and participate in counselling process for admission.
