What are the facilities available for students at Shree Venkateshwara Arts and Science Co-education College?

Honestly, the thing I like about GIBS is that they don't just say “global exposure” or “industry ready” for marketing. Programs like IRE and CPMP actually make you work on stuff that companies expect outside the classroom.

In IRE, we do a lot of practical learning — projects, ideas, prototypes, presentations, even small entrepreneurship activities. It makes you more confident and helps you learn how to think creatively instead of just memorizing theories.

CPMP is more about preparing us for placements. We get industry mentors, communication training, aptitude prep, grooming sessions, resume and interview practice — all those things that matter but colleges usually ignore.

Plus, there are guest talks from founders, corporate people, and even international speakers, so you get different perspectives. It honestly makes you feel like you're getting a better picture of how things work outside college.

So yeah, I feel like GIBS makes sure students don't just pass exams, but actually know how to handle internships, placements, and the corporate side of things.

As a student at GIBS, the placement scene is honestly quite strong and visible around campus.

In our recent placement cycle, the highest packages went into double digits, and the average package is solid for freshers, especially for roles in marketing, finance, consulting, HR, and operations. Companies like HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finserv, Deloitte, Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Flipkart, Reliance, Asian Paints, along with many good startups, regularly hire from GIBS.

What I personally feel proud about is that I got placed with a package of 11.3 LPA in a good company, which really shows how the opportunities here work if you put in the effort. Many of my batchmates also got good offers and even multiple options to choose from.
