For becoming a pilot, you have to do B.Sc Aviation. There are 2 institutions in India, one is Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Udan Academy, the best institution under government of India. For admission here u need to undergo a written test followed by Viva and Flying test. U need to have good proficiency in aerodynamics and overall 12 syllabi of PCM. Written entrance is based on class 11th and class 12th PCM syllabus.

I need to clarify first: are you asking about admission to Chandigarh University for B.Tech/B.E, or admission to a medical/paramedical course (like B.Sc Nursing, MBBS, BPT, etc.)

The marks required and exam rules differ a lot depending on the stream.

For students not appearing in JEE, Class 12 performance, particularly in PCM subjects, becomes the primary eligibility criterion, alongside CUCET scores for CSE programs. This dual-focus system allows students with strong 12th marks but no JEE score to secure admission, while rewarding JEE participants with merit a

Even for students applying with JEE Main 2026 ranks for scholarship consideration, meeting the 12th standard eligibility is mandatory.
