    The cutoff trend for B.Tech at IIT Guwahati - Indian Institute of Technology has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 7859. In 2023, it increased to 8453. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 3065 to 3376 for OBC, 1640 to 1842 for SC, 619 to 585 for ST, 1362 to 1329 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.
