    The important dates of NIFT 2024 will cover the entire admission schedule of NIFT 2024 admission process. The important dates will therefore cover events like release of admission notification, application form, and admit cards, conduct of the exam, declaration of results, counseling schedule, and date of commencement of classes. The tentative dates for NIFT 2024 are as follows:
    Beginning of online applications: October 2023
    Last date to register for the exam: December 2023
    Correction facility to make changes: January 2024

    Online Application form registration starts=1st week of November 2023. Last date to register = 4th week of December 2023. The last date to submit the form with a Late fee of Rs. 5000/- = 1st week of January 2024. Application form correction window = 2nd week of January 2024. Admit card = 2nd week of January 2024. NIFT Entrance Exam 2024 = 1st week of February 2024. Answer keys = 2nd week of February 2024. Result declaration = 2nd week of March 2024. Interview Round = 2nd week of April 2024.     Here is information on the general admission procedure and dates that often occur and may continue in the future as early as 2024:
    1. Release of NIFT Admission Notification (October).
    2. Start of Online Application (Nov-Dec- Jan).
    3. Last Date for Online Application (first week of Jan)
    4. Admit Card Release (Jan - first session, March/April - sec session)
    5. NIFT Entrance Exam (Feb - first session, March/April - sec session)
    6. Result Declaration (March - first session, April/May - sec session)

NIFT 2026 counseling process will be conducted online and will have multiple rounds. In the previous edition of the exam, three regular rounds, followed by a SPOT round, of seat allotment were conducted. 

If you meet the cut-off in any of these rounds, you will be considered for admission in that round. However, if you fail to meet the cut-off criteria, you may be considered for admission in the subsequent rounds provided you meet the cut-off for that round. Or, else you will have to wait for the SPOT round, where seats will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Vacant seats after completion of the regular
