CAT is an abbreviation for Common entrance test. It is the entrance exam conducted by IIMS. The test scores are based on Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability (VA) and Reading Comprehension (RC), Data Interpretation (DI) and Logical Reasoning (LR).
