In order to give registered candidates seeking admission a common platform to select their top option for admission into an M.Tech programme at participating institutes or job offers from participating public sector undertakings (PSUs), the Common Offer Acceptance Portal, or COAP, was launched in 2017. Over the years, over twenty-three institutes and a PSU (NPCIL) have joined forces and participated in COAP to fill their M.Tech. seats or job vacancies. COAP is a Common Offer Acceptance Portal initiated in 2017. Candidates with valid GATE scores are required to register at COAP to access the offers by IITs for MTech admission or job offers from the PSUs. COAP provides the platform for the candidates to practice the choices of offers by the IITs/PSUs and allows the candidates to make informed choices.
