    Food Technology is a branch of Engineering that basically deals with the techniques that are involved in the production, processing, preservation, packaging, quality management, and distribution of food products.

    It also teaches the creation of new food products, their packaging and methods of preservation. Food Technology deals with areas of specialised food products such as Alcohol, Beverages and Oil Products also.
