GATE, also known as the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, is a prestigious national entrance examination conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, and the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (Bombay, Delhi, Madras, Kanpur, Guwahati, Kharagpur, and Roorkee).
