Hi there, LPU is famous for its placements, more than 600 companies are regular recruiters from the campus every year. From Trident which offered 15 LPA to Emeryll to Forbes Marshall which offered 6 lacs of package, students get a whole lot of placement opportunities depending upon their domains and CGPA as well as their interests. Many students in Mechanical stream also opt for further studies for their career prospects in research and faculty positions. With the course outcomes like following; the students are bound to become industry ready: 1 : Effectively build and communicate the solutions using learning from basic mechanical engineering, basic sciences, mathematics and computational skills and tools. 2 : Ability to design using Design of Machine Elements theories and to create prototypes using relevant manufacturing technology. 3 : Capability of building efficient energy conversion systems using basic understanding of Thermodynamics, Heat transfer and Fluid Mechanics. 4 : Demonstrate the ability to propose cost effective optimized solutions using simulated environment of Computer aided design, computer aided manufacturing and computer aided engineering. Moreover, Mechanical engineering students designed a futuristic Formula One Racing Car at SAEINDIA 2017 Noida. Talking about recent placements, the highest package availed is Rs 7.9 LPA for ME from Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India. HI Rohita, placement require large number of other things apart from calling the companies and setting up the interviews. The University needs to have the latest and industry consulted curriculum. The technologies like SAP, advance excel, GitHub and other MOOCs are required to have the edge above other students The entrepreneurship projects, innovation labs, design thinking labs and business incubators etc. Are must to expose the students to real time situations and problem solving skills. Professional enhancement is must for students, they need to be exposed to professional etiquette, mannerisms, communication and interpersonal skills, ethics and virtues, right sensibilities to work in multicultural environment. Community development projects must be part of the programme so that students become empathetic and learn the organizing skills When the interviewer sees the skills in the students then only he/she hires them. So there may be some companies going to each of these campuses but offering the highest salaries to one of them and hiring for run of the mill positions and lower salaries from the others. Having 16 years of experience in some of the top universities in the country, I can vouch for the fact that LPU which you have not included in the question has the best track record in all the above parameters and that's why it is able to place maximum number of students at maximum offered salaries in some of the top companies. About 600 companies are regular to LPU for campus recruitment! As many as 60 offer more than 10 LPA to multiple students in CSE. So the record speaks for itself, LPU is miles ahead of any of these in any parameter whatsoever. I hope this will help.

One of my friend's brother took admission in LPU and appreciated the efforts of the staff of University. He told that LPU is best for B.Tech (Mechanical) as this university provides updated curriculum, exposure and good placements as well. B.Tech Mechanical Engineering offers an advanced insight into engineering fields such as mechanical, electrical, electronics, computer Science, instrumentation, & control systems. The companies which have visited as of now are: Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Hitachi Power, Videocon, L&T Technology Services, Ericsson, HCL Technologies etc. He told that apart from this the student has the career in Defence Services, Indian Engineering services, PSUs like NTPC, NHPC, ONGC etc. , Higher Studies like M.Tech, MBA. , Core Industry (Manufacturing/Design Industry), Software Industry and Food processing Industry (Milk Plants) So LPU's speciality is curriculum, infrastructure, Faculty and qualitatively placed students.
