What is the admission procedure to get admission in B.Tech? My percentage in class 10th is 6.4 CGPA.

Dear Isha, Firstly, you have to complete a Diploma programme then you will get direct admission in the B.Tech (Lateral Entry). My cousin did the Diploma programme from LPU and then took admission to B.Tech (Lateral) at LPU itself. Better decision to do the Diploma in LPU after that lateral entry engineering admission easily you will get based on your academic record. Placements and high study offer. Project-based learning: A mandate to create the project to assimilate all its learning. Great projects leading patent creator. Experimental learning
Innovative teaching: simulation and Case-based teaching method is devised to facilitate the students to relate theory with the real world. Guest lectures by successful industrialists and renowned academicians sharing their success stories to encourage students for entrepreneurship. Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA till now. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. In order to take admission into B.Tech degree in LPU you need to qualify the eligibity criteria. Eligibility criteria is 60% in 10+2 with English Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST
For Biotechnology, Food Tech and Biomedical engineering. English Physics Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Biotech and rest all same
For Chemical English Physics Chemistry and Mathematics and rest all same. LPU NEST cut off scores varies with different domains of B.Tech. First, you have to pass your class 12th with aggregate 60 % marks. Or you can go for Diploma from any college.

Hi Isha, For getting admission into highly advanced B.Tech programme, you need to pass 10+2 with at least 60% aggregate marks for one of the best colleges in India. If you still want to enter into any of the engineering fields just after 10th, go in for Diploma. The three year Diploma can lead you to either get a job or you can go into the lateral entry programme of B.Tech in your field. The choice is yours. All the very best for your future.
