Gujarat National Law University admissions are offered at undergraduate, postgraduate & doctoral levels. GNLU Gandhinagar courses are offered in full-time & part-time modes. GNLU Gandhinagar admission to 5 years integrated law programmes based on CLAT UG. Candidates aspiring for GNLU Gandhinagar L.L.M programme have to appear for CLAT PG. To be eligible for admission at Gujarat University, candidates must have passed the class 12 examinations with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognised board. For SC/ST candidates, there is a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks required.

Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) admits students in January of each year. Applying for the process is done online via the official website.

The GNLU admissions procedure consists of:
completing the application for CLAT
showing up for the CLAT UG and receiving a passing grade
Engaging in online counselling for CLAT
chosen in accordance with CLAT ranking
taking part in the Consortium of NLUs' CLAT counselling for admission to LLM and LLB (Hons) programmes
