    Candidates are eligible to apply for MSc in Biotechnology if they have a BSc (Agriculture)/(Horticulture) degree from a recognised university by State and Central Government with a 6.5 OGPA and 7.0 GPA in the concerned discipline on 10 points scale (5.5 OGPA and 6.0 GPA for SC/ST/PH). To apply for MSc Biotechnology, follow the step-wise SOA application process mentioned below:
    Step 1: Apply and qualify for the SAAT conducted by the institute.
    Step 2: Students with a valid JEE Main score will be exempted from SAAT.
    Step 3: Appear for the counselling process.

SOA University offers lateral entry for BTech, BPharm and BHMCT programs. It is beneficial for the students to get direct admission to these courses through lateral entry. The university also provides scholarships to the lateral entry students. The eligibility criteria for the lateral programme are discussed below:
