What is the application process for YCMOU?

YCMOU offers a PhD program in environmental science. Admission is based on the PhD entrance test and a interview. Applicant must hold  a master degree in a relevant field with at least 55% marks.The PET comprises two online paper :The first assesses general aptitude and research skill, while the second focus on subject specific knowledge. Applicant with valid UGC- NET, UGC-CSIR NET, SLET, GATE or hold an M. Phil. are exempt from the PET.The PET is typically conducted in October. 

BA graduates of YCMOU are eligible for a variety of jobs in the government sector. However, they must appear for the competitve exams conducted by the recruiting organisations, such as UPSC, SSC, etc. Tabulated below are some of the prospective government jobs for BA graduates of YCMOU, along with their average salaries:

Students must fulfil one of the following criteria to be eligible

• YCMOU pre admission course with minimum 40% marks and completed 21 years of age
• Class 12 or equivalent examination of Maharashtra or other state HSC Board
• Government-recognised Diploma of a minimum of two years after Class 10

The YCMOU BCom tuition fee is INR 11,684 for the entire course duration. Other fee components may include registration fees, exam fees, etc. The fee must be submitted online to the university account.
