For B.Arch admissions, candidates must have to appear for  the JEE Main entrance exam and participate in JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling. For M.Arch/M.Plan admissions, they need to register for GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) and participate in CCMT (Centralized Counseling and Admission for Technology). For Ph.D. admissions, candidates need to download and fill out the application form available on the SPAV official website.

The application process at SPA Vijayawada varies by course. For B.Arch and B.Plan, candidates must first qualify JEE Main Paper 2 and participate in JoSAA/CSAB counselling. Once allotted a seat, they fill out the offline application form at the school counter and pay a nominal application fee. For PG courses, applications are submitted online through the official website, followed by payment of the application fee and document submission. PhD applications are offline, requiring candidates to download the form, fill it, and send it with required documents and a demand draft to the institute by post or courier
