If you have a private university in mind, go no further than LPU, as most others are business models rather than education institutions. You need to SEE if the university has the following: # Course curriculum, It needs to be dynamic and industry consulted then only the professionals will be developed which industry really needs. # programme delivery: Classroom teaching doesn't work anymore, it has o be experiential learning technique. # Professional enhancement: Students come from various backgrounds and culture, they may be very good in inculcating the technical skills, but they also need to clear the interviews also for taking the jobs. The soft skills, communication, interpersonal and networking skills need to be inculcated in them not only for interviews but for whole of their careers. # Faculty, the faculty which develops the curriculum and delivers the programme with right teaching pedagogy must be top notch. # Internships, entrepreneurship, community development projects etc. : They need to be integral part of curriculum so that students get hands on knowledge about real time situations in various aspects of life and business. All these contribute a phenomenal value towards placements. And as a result, LPU attracts over 350 companies for CSE alone ! Offering between 4 LPA to 42 LPA. The average packages are around 5.5 LPA Thanks.
