    LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants.     Yes, definitely you'll gone get admission on the basis of JEE Mains if you got 85 percentile in your JEE Mains exam then you can take direct admission in B.Tech CSE, if not then you can appear in university's entrance test called LPU NEST. Let me tell you Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech here in LPU in previous qualified exam you need to Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST.

    As per the admissions 2020 The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST. The fees of B.Tech is Rs 98000 per semester and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI.     In order to take admission in your desired programme, you need to meet the eligibility norms. On inquiring for one of my friend from the counsellors of LPU I came to know that those who have 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST.     The cut-off for all the branches is dynamic, as it changes every year. Moreover, score above 170 marks out of 400 and you will get CSE. But along with that, have a class 12th percentage of above 65%.

    There is no cut-off system. You must have 55% marks as well as you have to Pasa LPU-NEST exam.

Dear, For a B.P.Ed course in LPU, anybody who holds a degree in any discipline and has an aggregate mark of not less than 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) and participated in inter-college, zonal, district, or school-level sports competitions recognised by AIU/IOA/SGFI/Government of India is eligible.
