Well, if you've heard for reliable sources like The Hindu or the Economic Times it is true. The salary at the top 3 IIMs are very high.
Before I mention the salaries, let me start by saying that there are two types of placements:
The Summer Placements: These are internships and salary may range from a few lakhs to even 10,000 per month and is for a period of two to three months. This internship may turn into a full time job based on your performance.
Final Placements: The type of job you get depends on your two years you spent at IIM, your grades, your extra-curriculars and internship. Your final placement salary may range from One Crore

Cutoff for CAT general category is 99.5 percentile and for GMAT it is 710+ out of 800.
Placements are fantastic with 100% jobs and average salaries of Rs 15 lakhs per annum.

IIMB BBA DBE application/ registration forms will be available online only on the official website of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. Students who wish to appear for the BBA DBE entrance exam, have to fill application form online along with paying the online application fee.
