The cut-off is decided based on factors like the previous year's cut-off, the number of students appearing for the exam, the number of students qualifying for MET and the difficulty level of the exam. Therefore, it's important to perform your best in the exam to increase your chances of getting admission to your desired course. Keep in mind that candidates who have a rank below the MET B.Tech cut-off will not be eligible for admission. Once the results are declared, the cut-off is announced, and it's available on the official website of the university.
