For an MBA at Quantum School of Business, a CAT score in roughly the 70–80 percentile range is often considered desirable for strong candidature.  Candidates with this percentile typically stand a good chance of being shortlisted for the next stage of selection (Group Discussion + Personal Interview). That said, admission is not strictly limited to CAT — the university also accepts valid MAT/CMAT/XAT/NMAT scores. If you have good overall academics and a valid entrance score, a 70–80 CAT percentile gives a competitive edge at Quantum University.

Quantum basically offers admission on the basis of your % in graduation but it can offer you scholarship on the basis of your CAT percentile if you got more than 70 % in CAT.

Actually CAT is not compulsory to get admission in Quantum university, but if you have scored above 70% in CAT then you can get a good scholarship on the basis of your percentage. You can take admission on the basis of your percentage in graduation which should be above 50% and after the registration you need to appear in the interview online or offline as per your comfort. Then you can get the admission.

If you're aiming for an MBA at Quantum School of Business, you don't need an extremely high CAT score. I've done my MBA from Quantum University, and most students usually fall around the 70–80 percentile range.

The good part is that admissions also happen without CAT, since they take students on a merit basis plus a personal interview. So even if your CAT score isn't strong, you still have a real chance.

Quantum looks at your overall profile, graduation marks, and how you perform in the PI. Stay confident and you'll be fine!

I've done my MBA from Quantum University, so I can tell you how it actually works.
If you have a CAT score around 60 percentile, that's usually enough to get considered. But the good thing is — admission doesn't depend only on CAT. Even if you don't have CAT, you can still get in because Quantum has its own selection process, which includes a personal interview and a simple written/aptitude round.

They focus more on your interest, communication, and clarity about why you want to do an MBA rather than just the exam score. So don't stress too much about hitting crazy percentiles — just prepare well for the PI and you'll be fine.

The desired CAT score for Quantum School of Business, Quantum University isn't very high or rigid. In fact, Quantum accepts students with moderate CAT/MAT/XAT scores, and the admission process focuses more on your overall profile, GD/PI, and how motivated you are for the MBA rather than just numbers.

I've done my MBA from Quantum University, and from my experience, even students with average scores got in easily. So don't stress too much — a decent percentile plus a good interview is more than enough to get admission.

    It's a pretty student-friendly process!
