The COMEDK Entrance Examination is for admission to all the private Karnataka engineering colleges. After the examination of COMEDK, each student will receive a rank card based on their scores or results. The COMEDK UGET and Uni-Gauage exams are conducted annually for admissions to engineering courses in Karnataka. The basic difference between the COMEDK and Uni-Gauge exams lies in the participating institutes. The COMEDK UGET exam is conducted for admissions to private engineering colleges in Karnataka only. - Priority is given to the student with a higher percentile in Physics and Mathematics
- Second preference is given to the student with a higher percentile in Mathematics
- Even if the tie exists, a student with a higher percentile in Chemistry is preferred.
- Finally, the preference will be given to the age. The older candidate will be the priority.
Any candidate with at least 1 mark in the COMEDK UGET exam will be allotted a rank in the exam. Only those who obtain 0 marks will not be given any rank.
