What is the dress code of an MBA student at LPU?

<p>Every student at LPU is blessed to get exposure to a variety of Culture and Tradition that aids in the overall societal growth of students. The environment is rich not only in the level of learning but also demonstrates India's international relations with other nations. I did MBA from Lovely Professional University, and my experience at LPU was amazing, LPU is helping me grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support. I remember, In my class there were 67 students from Africa and they used to wear shorts, jeans and all but being a student of Mittal School of Business, they followed dress code policy during seminars, professional enhancement classes, workshops etc. Girls or boys can wear anything they want. Plus you can keep any kind of hairstyle you wish. There is no rule for that in university. As it is situated in Punjab and students from Africa as well as the North-Eastern part of India also study at LPU so you can imagine the fashion trend that goes inside the campus. If you are into fashion and modeling you can pursue your career in that as well. You will have both legal and moral support from the university, as most students fear the management and hence you would never experience CAT-calls or teasing for fear of getting expelled. In case you would like to explore new trends, DSA provides ample space for your modeling endeavors by supporting you both financially and morally. However, as per academic professionalism, girls and boys both need to follow the dress code policy which has been introduced in our academic system. There is no restriction for Dresses. During Placement drives, internship drives, industrial visits, guest lectures, PEP classes, etc. And on any other formal occasion, both need to be in formals. You should be in formal. One should no wear bathroom slippers in the departments. Students should not wear shorts in the departments. (By departments, I mean the buildings where your classes are going to be held! )<br>During your practicals (except Computer Science/IT and ECE/EEE/EE practicals), you have to wear a labcoat for the duration of the practicals. On interviews and during the classes :<br>You must be in a formal attire - formal shirt, pants, leather shoes, tie, and a leather belt (and a formal suit, if in winter!). One must be well groomed, too. (Clean Shaven or well trimmed facial hair for guys and neatly tied hair for girls. ). .</p>

There is no particular Uniform or Dress code for students of LPU for MBA. You can wear casuals or semi formal. Avoid wearing shorts, slippers, night wear casuals to the campus. However, During Placement drives, internship drives, industrial visits, guest lectures, PEP classes, etc. And on any other formal occasion, student need to be in formals.

As per my knowledge, there is no restriction on students' dress uo\ps but there is a decent dressing sense that needs to be followed. I am pleased to help you here! Dear candidate, There is no dress code for Bachelor of Technology Degrees students for daily routine classes. But during PEP classes and placement drives, you have to wear Formal Dresses. Professional Enhancement Programme or PEP classes: The curriculum incorporates specific courses (subjects) under the notion of Professional Enhancement Programmes (PEP) in which the students are prepared to crack the placement processes. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering:Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning)Quantitative Aptitude SkillsTechnical Aptitude SkillsPresentations and Soft SkillsMock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ) All the exercises stated above are the result of joint efforts of the school departments and the dedicated department named Centre of Professional Enhancement with 100+ full time dedicated trainers working closely with the Placement cell (Division of Career Services). Experts from the Industry and Professional Trainers/Evaluation bodies are hired/invited to expose the students to real-time placement drives experiences.
