Eligibility criteria is the minimum requirement that a candidate need to fulfil to seek admission. For admission to BHU BA courses, the candidate must be a Class 12 or equivalent exam pass from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate. In addition, the student should have studied the relevant subject as per the chosen specialisation. The age of the applicant must not be more than 22 years on July 1 of the admission year (the applicant should be born on or after 2nd July 2001).

Students seeking admissions to Faculty of Law, Banaras Hindu University must note that the admissions are conducted on the basis of the CUET exam.
