    The following are the requirements for admission to the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad's (IIM Ahmedabad) MBA programme (Post Graduate Program in Management, PGP):

    • A minimum of 50% in any field or an equivalent CGPA is required for a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. A minimum of 45% of marks is necessary for those who fall into the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories.
    • The Common Admission Test (CAT), which is administered by the IIMs, is required of candidates. PI and WAT invite the shortlisted candidates. For the final selection, performance in these areas is crucial.

    A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification must have been achieved from a UGC-recognised university with a minimum of 50% overall or an equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates), and the candidate must have completed at least 12 years of formal education. Candidates enrolled in their final year of their Bachelor's degree who are awaiting their final year results are also eligible to apply. For admission to MBA (or PGP) at IIM Ahmedabad, the CAT test is usually conducted in November. Aspirants of IIM Ahmedabad are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam is held in three slots:

  • Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
