To develop a Global Perspective, GIBS incorporates International Perspectives throughout its academic curriculum through the IRE (Industry - Research - Entrepreneurship) initiative designed to expose students to International Business Practices and Emerging Global Trends.
The IRE programme allows students to engage with Global Case Studies, Innovation Challenges, and Real World Projects and conduct Research Assignments on International Business Practices. Students experience an industry focused curriculum and learn about International Business through Guest Lectures and Industry Interactions, Forums for Entrepreneurship and Collaboration with International Companies and Organizations. This approach helps students acquire the Cross Cultural Skills necessary for success in today's Global Workplace.
To prepare students to be Industry Ready, GIBS has established the CPMP (Corporate Preparedness & Mentorship Program), which prepares students for their first day on the Job. The CPMP provides Students with Structured Training in the Fundamental Corporate Skills, Communication, Leadership, Aptitude, Interview Preparation, and Professional Ethics as well as Continuous Mentoring from Industry Experts. Through Workshops, Professional Simulations, Mock Interviews and Live Corporate Contact, students gain a Practical Understanding of what Employers Expect of new Employees, and this Practical Knowledge allows students to transition seamlessly from Academic Life into Professional Life, both within India and abroad.
