I would advise you to get in touch with the UID admission department for accurate fee structure.
One thing I can say that UID is a designer's nest amidst green nature and beautiful infrastructure with wonderful study environment. The infrastructure and facilities are the best in the country. -
The course fee is approximately 18 lacs in total for 4 yrs. The hostel and fooding charges are very reasonable compared to the luxurious hostel facilities and fooding UID is providing. With hostel and fooding, the total cost wud come to 22 Lacs approximately. I would suggest you to contact the admission department for exact fee structure and other details.

For the year 2020,(4 year full time-B.Des program) in Fashion Design in UID,the fees structure is total 18 lacks. You have to pay the fees before every semester.That means total 8 installments are there.

My nephew took admission in B.DES. This year they are charging-
COURSE- 18Lakhs for 4 years to be paid in 8 instalments semesterwise.
HOSTEL-AC Twin sharing 1,05,000/ per annum
AC Triple sharing 70,000/per annum
NON AC Triple sharing 55,000/ per annum
Mess Fee- 65,000/per annum -

I would surely suggest you to get in touch with the college for this. But roughly, it's around 18 Lakhs for 4 years. Different types of hostel rooms are available with them. So depends on your choice and budget ofcourse. Food charges are actually minimal on a per day basis.

UID DAT exam was conducted on January 11, 2026. It was from 1 PM to 4 PM. All candidates who appear for Tier I - will be eligible to appear for Tier II - Situation Test (ST) and Portfolio Evaluation (PE).
Yes, you can fill the UID DAT B.Des and M.Des application forms offline. The application is for INR 2000. The application form must have a photograph, signature and must be sent to the address given by the institute.
Candidates must have passed 10+2+3/4 years degree OR must have 5 years Diploma (pass/appearing) in any stream from a recognised institution or university.
