There is no fees on registration of JoSAA counselling. You can register for counselling and participate without any fees but you will need to pay seat confirmation fees once the seat is allotted. Seat confirmation fee is different for various categories and paid online.

The JoSAA counselling is free of charge for candidates. They have to pay no fee to get registered for counselling. However, after the seat confirmation, candidates have to pay a certain amount for confirmation of admission. After the admission process is completed, the given amount will be added to the semester fees of the candidate.

The amount for seat confirmation differs from category to category:

General and OBC Category: INR 35,000.

    SC/ST/Gen-PwD/OBC-NCL-PwD/SC-PwD or ST-PwD Categories - INR 15,000

To know more about theexamination, candidates can refer to the official website or Shiksha.

Registration for JoSAA counseling is free of charge. Applicants are not required to pay to register for or take part in the counseling. Once a seat is assigned to an applicant, they must pay the seat confirmation fees. the cost of a seat confirmation varies depending on the category and must be paid online.

Applicants in the General/Open category must pay an amount of Rs 35,000; in contrast, applicants in the SC, Gen-PwD, ST, OBC-NCL-PwD, ST-PwD, and SC-PwD categories must pay Rs 15,000 via an e-challan or SBI net banking.
