The GIBS Business School Bangalore cutoff for the PGDM/MBA programme typically requires candidates to have a minimum overall CAT percentile of around 60 for the general category. Eligibility also includes a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks from a recognised university. The final admission considers entrance exam scores (CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, ATMA, etc.) followed by group discussion and personal interview rounds.

For 2025 admissions, expect the GIBS cutoff to be around 60 percentile in CAT and other accepted exams, along with the minimum academic eligibility of 50% in graduation. Final selection also involves GD and PI perf

GIBS Business School Bangalore usually looks for a 60 percentile or above in entrance exams like MAT, CMAT, CAT, XAT, or ATMA for their PGDM program. It's not super high, so if you've scored around that or a bit more, you've got a good shot. But apart from the exam score, they also look at your communication skills, academics, and how you perform in the interview rounds. So even if your score isn't very high, a strong overall profile can still help you get in.

GIBS Business School doesn't have a super strict or fixed cut-off like some other colleges. Usually, they look for students who have a decent score in exams like MAT, CAT, XAT, or CMAT. For MAT, a score around 70 percentile or above is generally good enough to get you in. They also consider your overall profile—like your past academic marks and any work experience. So, if your scores are decent and you're serious about joining, GIBS will give you a fair chance. It's not just about the numbers; they also focus on how motivated you are and how well you fit with their programs.

Saying whether getting into GIBS Business School is tough or easy will be subjective as it will require some subject selection as well as objective processes such as

  • Statement of Purpose
  • Personal Interviews
  • Entrance Exam scores

The accepted exams are MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, ATMA, KMAT, etc. but these exams are only the eligibility with the final selection depending on the above.
