Hi, Any stream candidate can pursue Journalism studies. Afcos, In India, New Delhi is the hub for most of existing media houses. But it does not mean that Working in Delhi only have good opportunities. Believe me, it has global scope for job opportunities. Few things you should keep on your mind prior to proceed for Journalism degree; Do they have a experienced faculty (Faculty must have expertise in theory and practical both). Do they have Adequate/appropriate equipment to make you expert in handling them. Do they have Audio/Video studio to teach them practically. Are they running any Media house. Do they provide the platform to you for doing practices. Do they have such atmosphere where you can have an experience to perform practically. Do they have Industrial Tie Ups. Do they provide Teachings from external experts. Now LPU is coming on my mind because they do provide all above mentioned Salient features. LPU is producing smart and Intelligent journalists. Not only journalists you can find LPU journalism students at various sectors of Media and Entertainment. For eg: I know one LPU Student who got placed as a Celebrity Manager in T-series. LPU School of Journalism and Film Production organized a national conference on Contemporary Perspectives in Design and Creative Arts' (CPDCA 2018) to have a holistic understanding of issues relating to space, forms, frugality, sustainability and functionality in design and creative arts. The conferences provides a platform for scholars and professionals to share and discuss the innovations and development in the field of design and creative arts. LPU students shared how the conference benefited them by expanding their knowledge about design and creative arts and how words of renowned artists and designers widened their perspective on different forms of art.
