What is the impact of social mobility?

Dear Venolu, Social mobility is often regarded as the ultimate goal of democratic societies. In democracy, equality is considered a biggest social issue, education plays a huge part in uplifting large number of poor people up the social ladder. However it is fulfilling to know that now he masses in India are now upbeat about education. Moving up and down the social ladder can be stressful. So it is imperative that education being the strongest driver of social mobility must be taken from the institutions of high repute like IIMs. IIT,IISER. BITS, Symbiosis, IT, PU, DU, Xaviers, Loyola, Shree ram, La Martinaire, Stella Marris and LPU etc. After-all the ultimate goal is to get settled with good income. These institutions do a great service to cociety by uplifting the so called social 'class' of people.

Hi, Education helps students belonging to lower strata of the society to go up in the social scale and attar in a high social position in the society. The medium of instruction in the educational system can play a great role in bringing about mobility among the people of the society. Education is the most important mediator of inter-generational social mobility in India. Education plays an important role with regard to social mobility chances, but the effect of caste and class of origin remains significant.Today the students move to different states for attaining the skill sets for their career advancement. Social mobility may be reduced in more unequal countries because educational scores are on average lower in less equal countries and education improves incomes more for those at the bottom of the income spectrum than for those further up.Higher education helps in gaining higher income and, thus, education is an important means for upward social mobility. Education is the most important mediator of inter-generational social mobility in India. Education plays an important role with regard to social mobility chances, but the effect of caste and class of origin remains significant.Today the students move to different states for attaining the skill sets for their career advancement. LPU is such a university which believes in Unity in Diversity as students from all over the country study under one campus. About 200 countries have sent their students for education in LPU.All the rules and regulations formed by the management are framed considering the benefits of students only. Sorry, I don't understand the term impact of social mobility.But, what I roughly understand mobility between home and college, you will get more exposure in LPU both in upgrade your position and also your knowledge.

Until now, though, no one has tried to quantify the health impact of social mobility. In our latest study we set out to redress this knowledge gap. But, before we get to that, a bit of background. One problem with finding out whether social mobility is a stressful experience is that it is such a complex thing. Its made up of three parts: the social class of your parents (your origin), your social class now (the destination), and the trajectory of movement between the two. One common criticism of these approaches is that people may adjust their expectations to their new class position so-called adaptive preferences. To overcome this, we used more objective data from a long-term study of thousands of British people whose health was assessed by nurses and who had a blood sample taken.
