What is the last date of applying for CUSAT in Chandigarh University?

Chandigarh University is organizing Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test known as CUCET which is a National level online entrance test. It is a mandatory test for acceptance into UG programs of Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture and Integrated Law, and MBA. This time CUCET 2021 was launched by the Honorable Minister of Education Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank Ji. Chandigarh University comes with the idea of investing in talent, CUCET offers promising students with incredible financial assistance. Moreover, the CUCET test will be used for admissions cum scholarship purpose which is aimed at recognizing the achievements, potential & talent of the students by providing a chance-to-all to win scholarships and study at Chandigarh University in futuristic & cutting-edge programs of their choice. The test will be based on the syllabi of the concerned qualifying examination and aptitude for that subject. The objective of this policy is to establish University's commitment to admit deserving students on aMerit basis and reward them with scholarships through Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET). This policy also aims to provide transparency and objectivity in administering and disbursing Chandigarh University Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate scholarships. The CUCET has been instituted to admit students of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Integrated Law programs (B.A+LLB, BBA+LLB, BCom+LLB), B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture. On the basis of Entrance Test only with an exception for those who secure more than 90% marks in tqualifying examination or up t 50000 rank in JEE. CUCET is a National level online entrance test conducted by NAAC A plus accredited Chandigarh University. It is a mandatory for admission to Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture and Integrated Law, and MBA programs. CUCET 2021 will offer up to 100 percent scholarships for students to study in futuristic courses of their choice at North India's central educational hub. The amount of scholarship is determined based on merit. The merit list is prepared by the varsity basis marks scored by candidates in CUCET (60 percent weightage) as well as graduation and Class 12th (40 percent weightage) exam Following are the details of exam CUCET 2021 Application Starting Date 14 December 2020 Last Date to Apply 29 May 2021 Exam Date December2020, to May 31, 2021 Result Declaration To be Notified CUCET 2021 has been divided into three different phases namely CUCET 1 and CUCET 2. Each phase of CUCET is active for a specific period and their benefits might vary. Choose the phase which is active and running during the time of your application. There are two basic modes of giving CUCET exam. 1. Offline mode- Submit the forms at offices of CU in different states. 2. Online mode- Visit the CUCET site at Chandigarh University page and follow the specific details. Candidates aspiring for admission to the Chandigarh University are required to fulfill all the eligibility conditions before filling CUCET 2021 application form. The prescribed eligibility for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses are as follows: Eligibility for UG courses: Candidate must have secured 50 per cent or more marks in their secondary Education (12th ) from a recognised Board (CBSE PSEB ICSE or any other recognised State and national Board). Students appearing for secondary education (12th ) in 2021 are also eligible to apply for the CUCET 2021. Eligibility for PG courses: Students looking for admission to postgraduate (PG) courses are required to have scored 50 per cent or more marks in their graduation. For the application registration, the last date for CUSAT will be in last week of May. Better to register as soon as possible for a planned schedule.
