The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) marking scheme comprised that four marks will be awarded for every correct answer. While one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks will be awarded or deducted for unanswered questions. Hence students are advised to attempt only those questions in which they are quite confident.

The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT), which is required for admission to MPharma or comparable programmes, is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA). As per the marking scheme of GPAT 2026 exam, each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks and for every incorrect answer -1 mark will be deducted. The GPAT marking scheme clearly mentions that no mark will be deducted for unattempted questions.

Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research considers GPAT scores for admission to MPharm programme. However, it is not mandatory to have GPAT score.
