Hello,
Candidate is asked to fill a state code while applying for JEE Main Exam which means code of the state/ Union territory from where candidate has passed 12th or equivalent examination. Candidates appearing Board exams other than native states must be alert about this. Also, if a candidate has appeared for board exam from one city and improvement exam from other then he/she must fill up the state code from they have appeared for board exam. Candidates applying from outside of India also must fill up this section. Andaman & Nicobar Islands (UT) 1
