Candidates wishing to apply to GIBS Business School for PGDM or MBA programs must have completed their bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and achieve a total of 50% or higher. Candidates who are completing their bachelor's degree may apply as well. All candidates applying to GIBS Business School must have completed their 10+2 from a recognised institution and achieve a minimum of approximately 50% marks to apply for the BBA program. In addition, applicants must demonstrate some level of aptitude and interest in the field of management/business studies.

To apply to GIBS MBA/PGDM, you just need to have completed your graduation in any stream — like BBA, BCom, BA, BSc, Engineering, or anything else — from a recognised university. In my batch too, people came from all kinds of backgrounds, not just commerce or management.

Even if someone is in their final year of graduation, they can still apply. GIBS looks more at your interest, attitude, and willingness to learn, not just marks. That's something I really liked, because many students here are strong in skills and communication.

Overall, the qualification requirement is straightforward, and GIBS gives a fair chance to students from div

I honestly feel they've made the whole fee part very flexible and student-friendly. Not everyone can arrange the full amount at once, so the installment and semester-wise payment options really help. On top of that, scholarships based on CAT/MAT/CMAT and merit make it easier for students who genuinely deserve a chance.

I've also seen classmates get scholarships around 75,000 which actually makes a big difference for families. What I liked is that GIBS keeps things transparent—no random surprise charges or unnecessary “extra fees”, and overall it feels more accessible compared to many B-schools in Bangalore.

I've seen companies from different industries visiting for placements, not just banks or IT firms. Big names like HDFC Bank, EY, Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, Bosch, Britannia, and PhonePe have recruited seniors from our batch. What I personally liked is the variety: finance roles, consulting, sales & marketing, analytics, HR. so students aren't stuck with one direction.

Even for internships, the exposure is decent because startups and corporates both show up. Because of this mix, most of us end up getting roles aligned with specialization, not random filler jobs, which I feel matters more than just showing logos. Overall, the placement ec

As a student at GIBS, the placement scene is honestly quite strong and visible around campus.

In our recent placement cycle, the highest packages went into double digits, and the average package is solid for freshers, especially for roles in marketing, finance, consulting, HR, and operations. Companies like HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finserv, Deloitte, Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Flipkart, Reliance, Asian Paints, along with many good startups, regularly hire from GIBS.

What I personally feel proud about is that I got placed with a package of 11.3 LPA in a good company, which really shows how the opportunities here work if you put in the effort. Many of
