There are some requirements that must be MET in order for a student to be admitted to CSE. Eligibility for B.Tech (CSE) is 60% in 10 Plus 2 with English Physics and Mathematics) + LPU NEST. 70 percent in 10+2 with English, Physics and Mathematics)+ LPU NEST for B.Tech CSE (Hons). Eligibility: You should have a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th class with mandatory subjects English Maths and Physics. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. PEP Classes- LPU provides placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. These classes help students for placements so that they can get selected in the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. The Knowledge Review has rated LPU as the 10th best Training & Placement Institution in India. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade. Comptia, Transorg, Geeksforgeeks, etc. That help students to explore themselves more in their field. Varun, the eligibility criteria for B.Tech CSE is
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2017 or JEE (Main)
OR
In case marks scored in 10+2 are 90% or above, then LPUNEST-2017 or JEE (Main) will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.
