    It is not the percentage you should ask for when you are into core engineering department. Well talking about campus placements, Haldia Institute of Technology gives you a good exposure in core companies but still, students prefer GATE examinations due to a good career. But if you want a placement just after B.Tech then you can come here as in terms of placement this institute is very good.

    I'm sorry to say but its placement is in a very poor condition. People in the electrical department didn't get placed well this year. Only a few got placed.

    More than 70-80% students of electrical department were placed last year.

According to WBJEE domicile requirement, students should have been staying in West Bengal continously for atleast 10 years, as of admission year. If not, then their parents should be permanent residents of state.

The Calcutta University WBJEE Cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the BTech programme. According to the Calcutta University BTech Cutoff 2025, the cutoff in the last round ranged from 980 to 5256 for the General category candidates under the All India quota. Among all the BTech specialisations, the hardest for admission was B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, and B.Tech. in Jute and Fibre Technology, the easiest.

Jadavpur University WBJEE Cutoff 2025 was published for admission to the BE/ BTech/BPharma courses for all categories of students belonging to the AI and HS quota. For the General category candidates under the AI quota, the BE course cutoff in the last round ranged from 78 to 5435, wherein, B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering was the toughest course for admission and B.E. in Architectural Engineering, the easiest in comparison.
