LPU is a premier university of India with top placements and world class infrastructure. LPU has more than 200 courses and every course has certain eligibility criteria to be fulfilled by a candidate get admission. For admission in B Tech. LPU offers more than 200 programmes. It is one of leading private universities in North. In the short span of time it has grown so much that major recruiters from the industry visit LPU for the placement purpose. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. Dear Sakshi, The eligibility of B.Tech Mechanical is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2. I would say, The engineering stream at LPU itself has received an overall good rating from students and alumni. The Mechanical Department has highly experienced and qualified staff pursuing their research in thrust areas such as CAD/CAM, Mechanical design, Thermal engineering, Fluid dynamics, Manufacturing Engineering, Tool design and Flexible Manufacturing Systems/Automation. The Department has to its credit more than 100 research publications in International, National Journals including prestigious ASME Transactions, International Conference and National Conference. Mechanical Engineering students at LPU are provided with enormous opportunities of placement drives. I can SEE my few friends getting placed in reputed companies like Hyundai, Reliance Energy, Godrej, Sandhar Technology, XL Dynamics and many more. Even IT industries recruit Mechanical students here.
