What is the process of seat allotment in WBJEE counselling?

The Jadavpur University WBJEE Cutoff 2025 was published for admission to the BE/BTech courses. According to the WBJEE Cutoff 2025, the cutoff for the General category students belonging to the All India quota ranged from 67 to 5435 according to the first and last round closing ranks. The most difficult BE specialisation was B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, with the last round cutoff being 78. On the other hand, the easiest course specialisation for admission for this category was B.Tech. in Architectural Engineering, with the last round cutoff of 5435.

1. Check Your Eligibility

2. Visit the Official Website

• Go to the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) official site:

• Look for the “WB JECA Counselling” link when the registration window is open. 

3. Register for Counselling

During the registration window, usually for Round 1:

1. Click on the WB JECA counselling registration link.

2. Log in using your JECA roll number, application number, and date of birth (or other credentials as required).

3. Fill in your personal and academic details carefully.

4. Pay the non-refundable Counselling Registration Fee (about ₹500) online.

4. Choice Filling & Locking

• After registration and fee payment, you'll see a list of available institutes and courses based on your rank and eligibility.

• Select your preferred colleges and MCA programmes.

• Arrange them in order of priority and lock your choices before the counselling deadline. 

5. Seat Allotment

• Once choices are locked, the board will allot seats based on your rank, category, and choice priority.
