What is the required percentile in CAT in order to get admission in IIMs or other good management institutes?
-
If you belong to general category, score above 95 percentile to get admission in IIM or SP Jain. Try to score 80 percentile in each and every section of CAT exam.

Hi Sachin,
The percentile depends on your category and other profile factors (like your work exp., graduation and school. Scores, etc.).
In general, for a general category student, you would need at least 99 percentile for getting into the top IIMs (A, B, C and L). For the newer IIMs, you can expect a call at a percentile above 97 or 98 as well. For SP Jain and MDI, you would need around 98 percentile plus a good profile. FMS will also require around 99 percentile.
