Dear Neha, After completing the course successfully, candidates get interesting jobs according to their skills. A variety of job profiles with high salary packages are available. Manufacturing companies, multinational companies, and interior design companies employ furniture/interior designers. Most furniture and interior designers start their venture after a lot of work experience. Freelancing in furniture and interior design is a lucrative career option. This field has higher importance and options abroad. Yes, LPU is the best option to pursue B. Des in interior designing and furniture programme. One of my friends also completed the same programme from LPU and now she has opened her own business in interior designing and furniture. The salient features of the course includes:- Extensive Furniture Design (carpentry and metal workshop) in which student gets the opportunity to make full-scale furniture pieces with an understanding of various joints, working and handling materials and evaluating the strength.
