    The minimum eligibility for this course requires passing class 12th/higher secondary examination with Biology or Maths with a minimum of 50% marks. The mode of admission is through entrance exams such as JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, NEST, etc. A fresh graduate of this course can expect an annual salary of between INR 2.10 LPA which would only increase with experience in the field.     Biomedical Engineering (BME) is a developing field. In India, it is still at a very nascent stage. It has a lot of potential and Biomedical all together is a very vast field with several domains. So if you are good at even one, you can surely make tons of cash. Trust me, I always believe "It's better to be at the top in a mediocre field rather than being mediocre in a top field". But let me tell you the reality too, a lot of Biomedical Engineers in India end up with sales and service jobs, which are not highly paid to start with, but gradually the pay gets better.
