You can write on your words but the answer must reflect the right thing asked in question. Vocabulary must be strong. It is difficult to memorize everything hence you have to write the summary in your own word. -
Make notes in your own words after reading the study material / books / newspaper repeatedly until you are understood every single point. If you will make notes in your own word, it will be easy for you to memorize. There is no much to memorize, so keep on revising the notes in regular intervals. Make notes properly and clean.
