    1. Language Proficiency - Brush up your Basic English and comprehension to prepare for this section.
    2. General Awareness - This is a very wide category and covers a lot of topics, including Science and basic history, geography. It will also include general knowledge (both static and current). It is advisable to pick a guide for general knowledge and go through it.
    3. Legal Aptitude - Legal Aptitude - Will include some landmark judgments, basic provisions of the Constitution, important provisions of some Acts like Contract Act, Transfer of Property Act, etc.

    ACLAT follows the same pattern as most other law entrance exams. There are 200 multiple choice questions, and negative marking for wrong answers.
    Syllabus is also similar to CLAT and various other exams. The following are the topics one should focus on (along with inputs on preparation strategy):
